Bio

Dr. Gregory R. Kriehn was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 14, 1975. He received his B.S. summa cum laude degree in Physics and Applied Optics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1997, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, in Boulder, Colorado in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He was a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow from 1999 to 2002, and is currently employed as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at California State University, Fresno, in Fresno, California. Dr. Kriehn specializes in RF Photonics, Adaptive Optical Signal Processing, Optical Communication Systems, Dynamic Holography and Photorefractive Crystals, and Optics and Opto-electronics.
