E-Mail & Spam
I have kind of a unique setup for my e-mail. I
have enabled my own mail server using sendmail,
but I also like to use fetchmail
to pull e-mail from my University account down to my server
automatically. From there, I forward all e-mail through procmail and
run it through spambayes
for adaptive filtering of any spam that was not caught by the
University filters. Finally, I have recently setup dovecot to allow POP3
connections to my server so that I can easily pull e-mail onto
my laptop when I am away from the University.
