Well, I finally broke down and decided to create my own repository to simplify the installation of some "Old School" software that I still love but seems to have fallen out of mainstream popularity. I will do my best to keep the repository independent of others such as rpmfusion. Consider this to be the (un)official Old-Timer's repo.
Enlightenment DR17 (E17) RPM Packages
Since the old E17 maintainer (Didier Casse) became too busy to continue with his Fedora E17 repository for Enlightenment, the torch was passed onto me, and so I am pleased to announce that RPM packages are available for Fedora 7 - 12. Please see my F12 E17 Installation page for additional information. You should notice that there are significant number of E17 RPM packages supported.
What about Enlightenment being integrated into the Fedora Repository?
NOTE: The Enlightenment Foundation Libraries (EFL) and even the Enlightenment E17 Windows Manager has slowly worked itself into the Fedora Repository (kind of). Feel free to use the stable versions of those packages once they become available, if you wish, but please note that the functionality (and availability) of those packages are very limited in comparison to what I am currently offering in the Kriehn Repository.
Also note that I cannot guarentee conflict-free integration if you choose to mix packages from the Kriehn Repository with the E17 packages available in the Fedora Repository. This is especially true since the Fedora packages are built upon an older, but stable, version of Enlightenment. To avoid potential conflicts, the version number for my Enlightenment packages will always remain higher than the packages in the Fedora repository, which means if you try to install an Enlightenment package, yum will default to my repository when fetching it.
Once E17 becomes mature, and enough packages and functionality are added to the Fedora Repository, I will start to remove packages from the Kriehn Repo. For now, however, consider this repository to be the "testing" or "bleeding edge" version of E17. If you can think of a way to solve this problem gracefully, please send me an e-mail.
If you have other packages that you would like to see included into the repository, send me an e-mail with a source-ready tarball — and even better yet, include a properly-formatted spec file as well.
GnuPG Key
All packages in the repository have been signed by my GnuPG Key. Please download the following:
Once you have downloaded it, copy it to the /etc/pki/rpm-gpg directory:
~>
sudo cp ~/Download/RPM-GPG-KEY-kriehn /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/.
Then import the key:~>
sudo rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-kriehn

Note: I am *NOW* offering both 32-bit and 64-bit x86 packages for Fedora 7 - 12 (i386 and x86_64, respectively), thanks to help from Vasile Chelban. The site is also being mirrored — the mirror list is located within the RPM file. However, only the latest version of Fedora contains updated packages.
Repository RPMS
The repository packages are located at http://optics.csufresno.edu/fedora/.
Fedora Linux Systems Administration Pages
Please note that the older pages are more or less static. If you find an error (and more importantly, can provide me with a correction), contact me and I will update the pages. The latest version of Fedora will always be well supported (in terms of feedback and updates), and to a lesser degree, the next-to-latest version as well.
