I do not anticipate curving your final grade in this class. Therefore, it is important that you complete all of your course work in a timely manner, and that you study all of the material for conceptual understanding—not just for a passing grade. During the semester you will apply what you have learned to your homework, pop quizzes, midterm, project(s), and the final exam.

It is vitally important to keep up with your work in this class, since all assignments build upon knowledge gained from previous work during the semester.

Late Work:  All work that is not turned in by the beginning of the class period it is due will be considered late and marked down by 10%. Every day thereafter, your grade will drop by an additional 10%; however, once 5 days have passed, you receive an automatic 0%. If I finish grading an assignment before the first 5 days are over and you have not turned it in the assignment, you will also receive a 0%.
