Professor Kriehn's Fedora Repository
Some time ago I broke down and created my own repository to simplify the installation of some "Old School" software that I still love but seems to have fallen out of mainstream popularity. I will do my best to keep the repository independent of others such as rpmfusion. Consider this to be the (un)official Old-Timer's repo. If you have other packages that you would like to see included into the repository, send me an e-mail with a source-ready tarball and include a properly-formatted spec file.
All packages in the repository have been signed by my GnuPG Key. Please download the following:
Once you have downloaded it, copy it to the /etc/pki/rpm-gpg directory:
Then import the key:
NOTE: The RPM-GPG-KEY-kriehn public key has changed as of Fedora 19, and is now 4096 bits long. If you have the old 2048 bit key installed, you must download the new public key and import it. Old packages are still signed with the old key, but are considered obsolete and deprecated since the 2048 bit public key is no longer in use.
Repository Installation RPM
Install the appropriate RPM for your version of Fedora to enable access to the repository using yum:
Fedora 27 — kriehn-f27-repo-1.0-27.fc27.prof_k.noarch.rpm
Note: I am offering several 32-bit and 64-bit x86 packages for Fedora (i386 and x86_64, respectively). However, the latest version only contains 64-bit packages.
Current (and obsolete) repository packages are located at http://optics.csufresno.edu/fedora/.
